Best Table Tennis Ball Picker
I have a few versions of the “My Ping Pong Buddy” ball pickers since my older kid attended her first US Nationals about 6 years ago in Las Vegas, where I got the first “My Ping Pong Buddy” ball picker from Joe, which is probably the first version. Since then, I am addicted to it. The reason is very simple. My older kid has been in extensive training 6 days a week and I am 6 feet tall. This tool is really helping me to easily pick up about 100 balls at a time as the kid needs a lot of multi-ball training and I need to catch up before the basket runs out of the balls. Of course, my kid “hates” me doing that and sometimes to keep the kid motivated, the coach has to make me put the balls into another basket to make sure the one in use will be empty. A little hope for the kid 😊 Well, a couple of years later, the younger kid has joined the “club”. To save time, we always arrange the training for both of them at the same start time. Without the “My Ping Pong Buddy” ball picker, it is going to be a mission impossible as I will have to run around like crazy. While looking at other parents bending the back and pick up the balls, I can take it easy to take care of the multi-ball sessions for both of my kids by walking around (good exercise for me too) and reach the balls under the table or at the corner, thanks for the long extension of the picker.
Over the years, the picker is improving from a PVC extension to an aluminum one which is lighter. Later the head of the picker is adjusted to a better angle touching the ground and make the job easier. Anyway, I will keep upgrading based on the improvement as far as I am on the job of picking up the balls. By the way, I have been using multiple pickers ranging from non-professionals (butterfly catcher) to big brand names. So far this is the best choice and saving my back, wrist and make me enjoy the kids’ training more.
I have been providing the feedback to Joe about the tool and glad to see he is paying a lot of attention to someone like me using it every day. I really hope Joe will continue to improve the picker and help many more players, parents and coaches or whoever loves to pick up ping pong balls…😊

Excellent Got Even Better
I’ve long been a fan of the MyPingPongBuddy Ball Picker. Now, I just used the new and improved version with the bent metal connected to the head — and it is even better! I wish every company was as focused on continuous improvement as is MyPingPongBuddy. I have bought 4 mypingpongBuddy pickers the first one on 2019 took it to my club and everyone went crazy so I give it to the club I bought my second one in 2020 and everyone start using it it was use 7 days a week I had a coach really like it so I bought 2 more this week 2023 one for my coach and one for my self they the best pickers I know my club have pickers but nothing like mypingpongBuddy if you want a picker to last long time this is it my old 2019 still in use 7 days a week by my club and don’t need any strings or net replacement this is a fantastic picker and for Joe his got the best customer service he gave me a free head wich I did not expect it thanks Joe for your wonderful service I will be back
